Prenatal Workshop:
Learn the whole-body techniques to prepare for birth and prevent core and pelvic floor dysfunction, including diastasis recti, prolapse, incontinence, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and pubis symphysis. Learn the tools you need to make your pregnancies and births much more physically manageable and much more enjoyable. There will be integration techniques interwoven with a movement practice to help you learn to down-regulate your nervous system, an important component of giving birth. Go from feeling stiff to feeling free with your body changes.
Postpartum Workshop:
For women who have fallen through the cracks of the medical paradigm and who find that conventional-exercise models have failed to address diastasis recti, prolapse, incontinence, tight hips, and sacroiliac dysfunction, this workshop is for you. The functional movements employed here are steeped in biomechanics, alignment, and functional movement to help you manage and rehab core and pelvic floor dysfunction. Acquire some tremendous tools so that you don’t have to suffer in silence, and go from feeling like an alien in your own body to embodied, strong, and even more capable than ever.
Couples’ Workshop:
Learn to connect as partners in the beautiful experience of birth. Enjoy a safe prenatal yoga class, get empowered as you create a birth plan and learn about your options, and explore ways to relieve pregnancy discomfort together through massage and Rebozo, an ancient Mayan technique to help baby find the optimal position for birth, easing pregnancy pain. Equip yourself with the tools for a better birth while creating a fun and bonding experience.
